Description

SCF seems to have a lot of "custom" modules. Do you know who is developing these? Is there a license conflict with GPL2 for not having them on d.o?

regards,
Stéphane.

aka scor

The modules were developed by Tom Green. Agaric Design Collective (with myself as project lead) has taken over primary development.

The licensing is completely GPL compatible. As a fairly poor (but improving) maintainer of the modules I have now on my own, I really don't want to release any modules that SCF has no longterm commitment to-- and I haven't assessed the framework and its immediate usecases well enough to make that call for most of these. The sense however is that, developed as SCF was before Drupal 6 was released, with no CCK or Views used at all, very little of the custom modules will be kept long-term.

The goal *is* to release anything that will form part of the framework as independent modules.
